Italian comic insults Pope; risks being jailed for five years

Italian comedian Sabina Guzzanti may be put on trial in Rome for insulting the Pope, according to London’s Guardian newspaper. Guzzanti, known for her take-offs of the Italian Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi, risks being jailed for up to five years due to a speech she made to at left wing rally in July.
