A public memorial for late Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Fred Travalena was announced by the comedian impressionist’s family, to take place on Sat., July 18 at 1 pm. The event will be held at The Church of the Way, and confirmed attendees include Shirley MacLaine, Rip Taylor, and comedian Tom Dressen, who will serve as event MC.
Travalena, who passed away from cancer at the age of 66, maintained a long-running career as a regular performer at the Dean Martin Roasts and on the ABC Comedy Hour. He also made a name for himself by appearing on a number of game shows.
In addition to the memorial, a scholarship has been set up in Travalena’s name, intended to assist families of armed service members.
