Who needs all that View drama, anyway? Beginning on Sept. 29, fans of stand-up comedian Joy Behar’s snarky comedic style will be able to catch the fiery comedienne on her brand new show – a venture dedicated to covering, in Behar’s words, “non-depressing news.”
“We’re not going to cover depressing news. Well, we might, if someone interesting dies or something,” Behar said in a recent interview with New York Magazine.
Premiering on the Headline News channel, Behar hopes to rival pundit divas like Nancy Grace and Jane Velez-Mitchell. Given her extensive ability to go toe-to-toe with the likes of Barbara Walters and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, success for The Joy Behar Show shouldn’t prove all too challenging.
