Brit GQ names Michael McIntyre Comedian of the Year

Across the pond, at least one major comedian is making one hellofva splash. Brit michael_mcintyre_203_203x152Michael McIntyre, a superstar in England but virtually unknown in the States, was named Comedian of the Year by the prestigious British GQ magazine in the mag’s annual Men of the Year awards ceremony last night.

McIntyre is most notable for having sold out shows at Wembly an astonishing five times, and for setting the record for the fastest selling debut DVD in history, with his recent Live and Laughing. After the jump, check out some video of McIntyre.
