Aaron KaroIt’s hard not to feel a range of emotions while reading Aaron Karo’s new book – his third – I’m Having More Fun Than You. The nationally headlining comedian, who released his debut album on Comedy Central Records last year, will make you laugh for sure. But depending on where you fall on the spectrum of the human social strata, you might also want to do any of the following:

  • Throw the book across the room in disgust
  • High five your frat brother
  • Highlight all the passages that will help you get laid
  • Hide it from your girlfriend

The tome, mainly a cock-sure celebration of being single, filled with Karo’s ultra-male observations from being happily alone and tons of tips on how to stay unhitched, is rounded out by chapter intro quotes from the likes of Winston Churchill, Oscar Wilde and Shakespeare, glossary entries — “Drive of Shame,” “Karospacing,” or “OWGM Chick,” anyone? – and the occasional chart. Yay!

But be warned, Maxim fans: There are no glossy photos of half-naked women in here or even illustrations for that matter. You’re going to have to read this stuff to learn anything. But in the end, presuming I’m Having More Fun Than You ends up in the right hands, you’ll be greatly rewarded.

For now, check out a video shout out Karo recorded especially for you, dear Punchline Magazine readers. You can also visit Karo’s official book site at imhavingmorefunthanyou.com.

Hey, while you’re at it, check out two interviews we’ve done with Karo throughout the years. There’s one here and another here. And pick up a copy of the book now. Go. Do it. Just click the image below.
