This week marks the beginning of the 2nd annual Cleveland Comedy Festival running from Nov 4-6. The festival was created last year by a group of local comics who wanted to show off the prowess of their comedy community.Various shows and events will be taking place across four different venues for five days. Perhaps the most interesting event this festival has to offer is Ninja Comedy Death Match 3 hosted by Chris Hegedus. In NCDM, ten comics are put to the ultimate laugh-off in a three round competition – just like ninjas.

For more information on show times, venues, or parking, visit http://clecomedyfestival.com. Cleveland has a rich history of very successful comedy talents including Bob Hope,  Arsenio Hall, Steve Harvey, and Drew Carey.

Chase Roper

Chase Roper is a brilliantly subtle and bitingly sarcastic writer/ humorist from very south of Seattle, WA. While it might not be relevant to his comedy writing career, Chase feels it is important to mention that he is also an expert on the subject of zombies and martial arts movies. Also, 'bitingly' might not be a real word.
