Mike Epps has introduced a neat little Facebook widget for fans to share and experience bits from his newest DVD Under Rated & Never Faded. The application has some interactive features that allow fans to watch clips, read his Twitter feed, purchase the DVD from iTunes or Amazon.com, and also invite other friends to check out the widget.
Aesthetically speaking, it isn’t something I would necessarily want on my Facebook profile, but the material is funny and easy share. While I don’t know if Epps is the first to create a stand-up DVD promotion like this, I can say I’ve never seen anything like this before.
