New Jersey searches for state’s best college comedian

New JerseyThe Stress Factory comedy club in New Brunswick, NJ, has joined forces with the New Jersey Comedy Festival (NJCF) to showcase the best college comics in the state.

The NJCF has searched nine college campuses with an additional stop at the Stress Factory to find the funniest and most original college performers in the state. They will perform at the well-respected venue Dec. 9 at 8 p.m.

After facing a panel of judges at the Stress Factory, three comics will be chosen to advance to the Championship Finals at Rutgers University on Jan. 30.

The victor stands to win the title of “New Jersey’s King or Queen of Comedy,” a scholarship to the Manhattan Comedy School, the Good Humor Award, and a cash prize of $1,000. For more information, check out
