Who knew that Drew Carey was such a philanthropist? The big guy with the goofy glasses (much missed since his proported Lasik eye surgery) has pledged to donate one million dollars (yes, you should be hearing a Dr. Evil voice when you read that) to Livestrong, should his @drewfromtv Twitter account garner as many followers.
But wait! There’s more. (Isn’t there always?) Just recently, Carey upped the ante once more by announcing that he would still donate the promised $1 million if both his and the official Livestrong Twitter accounts reached a combined total of one million followers – a move that all but guarantees this sizable gift from a sizable donor. (That was not a low blow – we’ve got the feeling Carey himself will adopt that as his charitable tagline.)
