Bo Burnham first to record under Comedy Central, Live Nation’s new alliance

bo2As Punchline Magazine reported earlier this month, Comedy Central and the House of Blues music venue chain are teaming up to create Comedy Central’s House of Comedy Live from House of Blues. Comedy Central is producing a series of monthly live stand-up shows to occur at House of Blues locations around the country.

The first act to be filmed for one of two hour long comedy specials for the network will be comedian/musician Bo Burnham, who will record Bo Burnham: Words Words Words at the House’s Boston location on April 16. The special will air on Comedy Central in the Fall of 2010, and will be released on CD and DVD. Tickets to the live taping in Boston are available on www.jokes.com, www.livenation.com and www.hob.com/boston.
