After last season’s success with the return of Jerry Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm star and creator Larry David is looking to continue with the string of hilarious cameos. Enter: Ricky Gervais.
According to Chortle, UK’s leading comedy news site, Gervais has been asked by David to appear in the upcoming season of his hit HBO series, which is going on it’s eighth season. Gervais, who is best known for being the creator of the British version of The Office, is a good friend of David’s, and both are very fond of each other’s work.
“I think Ricky Gervais is one of the funniest guys I’ve ever met,” says David.
The pairing would certainly provide for some hilarious episodes of the already extremely popular Curb. Both David and Gervais are considered two of the funniest guys in television, and combining their quirky senses of humor is most definitely a recipe for success.
An official announcement is expected to come in the next month or so.
