Ellen DeGeneresWho’s your favorite comic book character? Perhaps it’s Superman, Spiderman or Batman? Catwoman or the Silver Surfer? Well that decision just got a lot harder, as a new comic book hero has been announced. It’s Ellen DeGeneres!

That’s right, everyone’s women aged 15-55’s favorite comedian and television host has been forever immortalized into a comic book. With the power to leap other TV show ratings in a single bound, and dance faster than a locomotive, DeGeneres has been featured in Bluewater Productions Female Force comic book series.

With a portion of the proceeds going to the Humane Society of the United States, DeGeneres was an easy choice to grace the cover of the latest Female Force comic book, listed at $3.99. She is known for her love and goodwill towards animals and animal protection issues.

The 38-page comic book chronicles her life from childhood through her career in stand-up comedy and television. (And of course how she gained the ability to fight crime and protect the television airwaves one dance-off at a time). Kudos to the comic cartoonist who drew the cover, which features DeGeneres in a Justin Bieber inspired haircut and bulletproof vest.

DeGeneres joins other famous superheroes such as Oprah, Hillary Clinton, and First Lady Michelle Obama in the Female Force series. Can’t wait for the movie!
