Aziz Ansari has signed on to star in 30 Minutes or Less, a feature film directed by Ruben Fleischer, the guy behind last year’s bizarre comedy Zombieland.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, 30 Minutes or Less “revolves around a junior high history teacher (Ansari) and a pizza-delivery man who are forced to rob a bank when one of them is strapped to a bomb vest.”
The flick is expected to start shooting this summer.
In November, Ansari inked a deal that finds the comedian writing three movies for Judd Apatow to produce. Those films include plots about two motivational speakers, a pair of disgraced astronauts, and a third based on Ansari’s character Raaaaaaaandy from Apatow’s hit Funny People.
