Since this year’s season of Curb Your Enthusiasm — right, the one with the faux Seinfeld reunion — ended, fans have been clamoring to know: Will there be another season? The answer came today from HBO. And the answer is “yes.”

Production will begin this summer on the eighth season in New York and Los Angeles on 10 new episodes, slated to air on the cable network next year.

“After much soul searching – and by the way, it was nowhere to be found – I have decided to do another season of CURB,” says Larry David. “I look forward to the end of shooting, when I can once again resume the hunt for my elusive soul. I know it’s here somewhere or perhaps in the rugged mountainous regions of Pakistan.”

On a scale of 1-10, how excited are you for the return of Curb? To get you more in the mood, after the jump, we’ve dropped a scene from last season’s finale episode. Enjoy!
