Ray RomanoRay Romano will again be helping people laugh at AIDS– in a way that is considered largely appropriate. On Saturday May 1, Romano will be headlining A Night of Comedy VIII, a fundraising event for the Children Affected by AIDS Foundation. The event, hosted by Doris Roberts (also of Everybody Loves Raymond), will star Kevin Nealon, Jeffrey Ross, Fred Willard and Dov Davidoff.

Both Romano and Roberts have been involved since the inception of the event, and have together helped raised over $1.5 million to benefit the Foundation, which is currently the only organization solely devoted to providing a variety of support programs to children affected by HIV/AIDS across the globe. Last year alone, in a show featuring Kevin James, Bob Saget, and Bruce Vilanch among others, they raised over $125,000 for direct services for kids with HIV/AIDS.

The event starts at 8 pm at the historic Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills; tickets can be purchased from www.caaf.org/comedy or by calling 310-491-1401. And no matter where you live, you can donate to the Foundation here.
