By George, the Brits have done it again! In spite of a nagging inability to have successfully cajoled the Americas into staying under British rule, our mother country sure has an impressive knack for dominating when it comes to all things television oriented.
And with that, meet the latest English export – an American adaptation of the popular TV show Top Gear, to debut on the History Channel this coming fall. The lucky individual slating for hosting duties is none other than comedian Adam Ferrara, he of Rescue Me and Comedy Central Roast-ing fame.
The 10 episodes of the series will follow what Monsters and Critics calls “an offbeat celebration of automobiles and driving.”
