New Orleans, the jewel of the American south, has been having a pretty rough go of it lately, what with all the offshore oil spillage and hurricane pounding and what have you. But thankfully, a collective of comedians are set to touch down this Memorial Day weekend, to battle crude oil with crude, lewd, hilarious comedy.
Yes indeed, it’s the Big Easy Comedy Festival. Throwing down on May 27-30 at NOLA’s Lakefront Arena, we’re willing to bet that even Bourbon Street’s never looked so bawdy.
