Stand-up comedian turned hip-hop parody artist Tom McCaffrey is back with his new video “How to Make a Hip Hop Hit 101.” On the heels of his hilarious last video “Less Money Mo Problems,” McCaffrey and his crew ran into a little problem: writers block. The solution? Do as all great hip hop artists do and just sample a beat.

McCaffrey and company (comedians Carolyn Castiglia and Mara Herron) draw inspiration (and a beat) from Oasis’s hit “Wonderwall” to create a parody hip hop video about how to ride on the coattails of successful songs in order to make your own hit. Complete with jabs at Timbaland, Diddy, and Vanilla Ice, the team makes some scathing commentary on the hip hop industry. But we have to say, that Wonderwall beat makes the song quite catchy!
