It’s rare these days that comedians ink a deal with TV studios to create a sitcom based on their stand-up act, but Jo Koy has done it.
The popular comic, mostly known these days for his frequent appearances as a panelist on Chelsea Lately, has just struck a deal with Warner Bros TV to develop a new show, according to Deadline.com.
The sitcom will be based on Koy’s life as a Filipino American, his family, and stereotypes. After the jump, check out some of Koy’s ethnic-based humor.
