john-oliver2Robert Klein, John Oliver and more will perform at a benefit to raise funds for the blind. On Sept. 20, Gotham Comedy Club in New York will host the fifth annual Laugh for Sight benefit, which will benefit retinal degenerative eye disease research.

Klein, who we interviewed back in June, and The Daily Show’s Oliver will be joined by Jessica Kirson and Brian Fischler, cofounder/president of Laugh for Sight, will also perform stand up accompanied by his dog Nash. More comedians will be announced.

Proceeds from ticket sales and a silent auction preceding the comedy will go to three institutions related to research and support for the visually impaired. Tickets for this fundraiser go on sale August 15 through Gotham Comedy Club. For more info, check out laughforsight.com.
