Anyone who listens to the podcast, WTF With Marc Maron has been waiting intently for this moment, and it’s finally here: this week, Maron reconnects with and interviews his longtime friend and fellow comic, Louis C.K. Maron’s been voicing his desire to have C.K. on the show for months now – in taped episodes, live shows and even in interviews.

And, he’s been pretty brutally honest (as is his way) about his irritation at finding C.K. difficult to lock down.

It has all the makings of a great WTF interview: friendship, experience, mutual respect, some resentment, and a little friendly career competition (Maron has repeatedly stated he sees C.K.’s successful FX series as being called, “Fuck You, Marc Maron”). At the heart of it all are two of the funniest guys in the business talking about life and comedy. It can’t not be great. The two halves of this special two-part episode drop today and Thursday on

Also, do yourself a favor watch this awesome video of Maron bring down the house on his Craig Ferguson appearance from last Friday.

I loved The New York Times article about MM in last Sunday’s paper. I was blown away by the fact that MM lives in Highland Park, CA where I also live. Also That MM does a blog in his garage. He is as funny as I had hoped and has a great comic’s voice, a very important attribute. I really like the testing and driving routine. A real comic skewers the stupidities rampant in this world. I want some more!
