Stand-up Chris D’Elia has been tapped to join TBS’ new comedy, Glory Daze. The new sitcom from writers Walt Becker and Michael LeSieur follows a group of friends that try to make it through college life in 1980s Wisconsin. They realize that living on their own is a whole new animal filled with wild situations from keg parties to pledging a fraternity.
D’Elia, who has appeared on Boston Legal and Monk, plays Stankowski, a college fraternity’s ‘Yoda’ of sorts, dispensing frat ‘wisdom’ to the younger members, according to a report in Variety. The show also stars Tim Meadows and Kelly Blatz.
In addition to his role on Glory Daze, D’Elia has signed on to tape a comedy special for Comedy Central and is developing the project Nocturnal Mission.
