Have you or a loved one been afflicted with Law Enforcia Phasia Disorder— more commonly known as Cop Face Disorder?

Comedian Yannis Pappas, of Ditch Films, describes it as “a psychiatric condition that emanates from having a face that closely resembles a law enforcement official. It progressively consumes those who suffer from it.” And Carmine Spagnutto, who suffers from the worst case of Cop Face, says, “I don’t have a badge. The badge is in my heart.”

In a video mockumentary (Cop Face doesn’t really exist, you silly goose) comedians Ali Wong, Nate Bargatze, Kendra Cunningham and Mike Vecchione explain this emotionally and physically taxing condition. The video is based on Vecchione’s hilarious bit about his admission that he looks like a cop.

Vecchione and Bargatze will both be taping their half-hour Comedy Central Presents specials this weekend, so be sure to keep an eye out for them in 2011. For now, check out the first episode of this web series below. The rest of the videos are here. And after the jump, check out the original bit that launched it all.
