Conan O’Brien released an explosive (and expensive) promo for his new show ‘Conan’ on TBS. In his latest video, O’Brien drives an explosives-filled, popcorn-packed 1969 Dodge Dart off a 900-foot cliff while an orchestra plays in the background.
Directed by Bryan Buckley, helmer of about three dozen Super Bowl commercials, the promo is adds to a series of showy big-budget videos to excite the nation for the Nov. 8 debut.
Over the top? Sure. Beat the pants off any Leno promo? Definitely.
