Bob SagetBack in May, we tipped you off about comedian Bob Saget’s new show on A&E, Strange Days with Bob Saget. And now, we can tell you a premiere date has been set. That date is Dec. 1. Starting at 10 pm EST, the cable network will air back to back half-hour episodes.

The documentary-esque show — it’ll run six episodes to start — will center around Saget’s travels across the country, wherein he’ll embed himself in some of our nation’s more colorful characters– think Bigfoot hunters. pro wrestlers, camp counselors, fraternity pledgers. You get the idea.

“I’ve always been interested in the under belly of anything,” Saget says about the show, “But what I truly enjoy is diving beneath the surface of a subculture that may appear to be one thing, but ends up being something completely unexpected.”

So, is this something you’d watch? Or not so much? Let us know.
