Comedians really love pot; here’s the video proof

The Sklar Brothers, Rob Cantrell, and other comedians are urging you to vote ‘yes’ on Prop 19 Nov. 2. That’s the law, by the way, that would make pot totally legal in California.

The Brothers Sklar contribute to a series of videos called “Puff, Puff, Pass It Along” a parody of the Anti-Prop 19 PSAs which show what “life will be like” if marijuana becomes legal in California.

Randy and Jason show us, among other things, that if pot is legalized no one will be able to find their car in a parking garage ever again— probably because they forgot they walked to the mall.

Cantrell portrays “General Potton,” shot to mirror the style of the classic 1970 film Patton, starring George C. Scott as the iconic WWII general against an enormous American flag.

Potton lists countless reasons why California needs marijuana to be legalized. For instance, if you vote ‘yes’ for Prop 19, he promises that the state’s economy will sky-rocket. He also promises to light up with each and every one of his audience… right after his speech… by the refreshments.

Check out the original scene from Patton below, and then Cantrell’s take on it.
