Comedian Rob Schneider is having a pretty good year. He released his first ever comedy album, hit the road on a national stand-up tour and now this: CBS has picked up a new show that will star the Saturday Night Live alum.
Deadline reports the show will be based on Rob’s life and will focus on his character, a lonely dude, who marries into a large Mexican-American family.
The producers of the as-yet-untitled show, Eric and Kim Tannenbaum, are the same folks behind the incredibly successful Two And A Half Men. For more on Rob, check out our in-depth interview with him from earlier in the year.
