A few months back. Comedy Central and the New York Comedy Festival – kicking off tonight – announced they would come up with their own Comics to Watch list.
Well, tonight’s the night those comedians get to show off, specifically at Carolines in New York City as part of the festival. The showcase, hosted by Christian Finnegan, puts the focus on the following line-up of comedians:
Adam Newman
Lamont Price
Harrison Greenbaum
Sara Schaefer
Ben Kronberg
Ali Wong
Josh Fadem
with special guest James Smith.
Comics to Watch is meant to support great comics who have not yet appeared on Comedy Central—James Smith has appeared on the network (thus his special guest position). Tonight’s show will showcase them to the rest of the industry, so don’t be surprised if you see some of these names again in the next year.
