D.L. HughleyJudging by the wealth of new shows, it would seem that Ted Turner and company have been more than busy lately.

TNT has reunited D.L. Hughley (formerly of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip) and Steven Weber for a new pilot written by Allan Loeb. The untitled series will feature Weber as a widowed police detective and Hughley as his newlywed partner, as the two “delve into world of mystery, intrigue, and occasional hijinks,” Deadline reports.

Weber has already been cast for a three-episode arc in TNT’s forthcoming sci-fi Fallen Skies, and on sister network TBS, Hughley will guest star in the new comedy Glory Daze.
