Owen Benjamin may star in his own half-hour sitcom for Fox, written by comedy veteran Marsh McCall. McCall is executive producing the show with producer Bill Haber, a former agent and CAA co-founder, along with Peter Principato among others. Benjamin will star as a “question-everything high school counselor balancing bachelorhood and his eccentric family,” according to Deadline.

Benjamin, who was a regular correspondent on The Jay Leno Show, recently filmed a small role in the Adam Sandler movie Jack and Jill.
