Since Greg Giraldo’s untimely passing in September, friends and the comedy community have shown great support– especially toward the comedian’s family (his three young sons) and his ex-wife Mary Ann.
And now, this Saturday, tickets will go on sale for perhaps the biggest show of support. Giraldo’s close friend, Marriage Ref host Tom Papa will MC a show at the Beacon Theater in New York City at 8 pm on Feb. 9. We’ve confirmed that the following comedians are scheduled to perform: Dave Attell, Lewis Black, Jim Norton, Judy Gold, Ted Alexandro, Jesse Joyce and Colin Quinn.
We’re also told that a very big-name special guest will be announced later this week.
All proceeds will go toward the Giraldo Children’s Fund, which was established in early October.
