Donald Trump is leaving the board room and heading to Comedy Central to take his place in front of the dais. The Comedy Central Roast Of Donald Trump is scheduled to tape on March 9, 2011 in New York City and is planned to air that spring.
“I’ll show up to the Roast because Comedy Central is paying me a lot of money, but I’m confused as to how anybody could make fun of me,” said Trump.
As crazily enjoyable as the roasts are, this will be the first to air since Greg Giraldo’s passing, which makes the event bittersweet overall. Trump is someone I’ve long wanted to see on the roast, but mostly because I wanted to see Giraldo roast him. All of this aside, I hope someone sticks it to Trump’s kids too.
