JB Smoove

As a huge fan of Curb Your Enthusiasm, and perhaps bigger fan of the show’s recurring character Leon Black, I was thrilled to see that Fox developing a project starring J.B. Smoove.

Smoove and Aaron Shure (writer-producer of The Office) have collaborated with Shawn Levy, director of Date Night, to develop a blue-collar comedy about a newly divorced husband and father who – given the economy – cannot move out, and is instead relegated to living in the basement. Not too many details about the untitled show are available yet, but given Smoove’s brilliance on Curb, you know he’ll bring the ruckus.

Let’s watch said ruckus.
