Seems like it’s been a while since a blog post has gone up on the world wide web featuring Kyle Cease that didn’t somehow praise or condemn his Stand-up Bootcamp. I’m almost finished with my week long obsession over heckler videos and found that this clip stands apart from the rest.

Something I’ve always admired about Cease is how quickly he adapts to the heckling and instantly builds a short set around it, often including call-backs. Perhaps he has some stock heckling devices ready, but that’s not a bad thing– is it?

Anyways, below is a fairly recent clip filmed at the Denver Comedy Works. Ignore the overly produced  intro and dramatic ending to to the clip.

About the Author

Chase Roper

Chase Roper is the Internet’s only comedy writing, podcasting, stay at home dad (maybe). His comedic sensibility has been described as bitingly sarcastic. He’s not sure if he agrees with that but is pretty sure that “bitingly” isn’t a real word. You can check out his show, The Stay at Home Dadcast on iTunes and Stitcher Radio.

surprisingly good. But the intro/outro is shocking annoying.
