I’m always floored by the demanding schedules my favorite comedians undertake for their craft. Traveling, performing, schmoozing, promoting; it’s grueling work for anyone.
A new reality show may shed some light on what that lifestyle is really like. Tammy Pescatelli, a two-time contestant on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, stars in a new series on WEtv called A Stand Up Mother. The show centers on the trials and tribulations of balancing a stand-up comedy career with her husband and son, with whom she moved from Los Angeles to Meadville, Pennsylvania. The show premieres Jan. 26th at 10 pm EST, but WEtv’s released a sneak peek. Check it out!
