Riki “Garfunkel” Lindhome and Kate “Oates” Micucci
HBO’s comedy lineup might be getting more musical in the near future. Kate Micucci and Riki Lindhome, who comprise the musical-comedy duo Garfunkel and Oates, have signed with HBO to develop a comedy based on their partnership, Variety reports.
Though further details about the content of the show are not yet public, the deal includes an accompanying web component of some kind.
The two are collaborating with Richie Keen, of Important Things with Demetri Martin fame, for the pilot.
So, let’s get in the G&O mood with some music. Check out the video below!
In addition to writing for Laughspin, Carrie is a graduate student in Austin, Texas, where she researches popular culture, new media, music, and social movements. When not reading or writing in any official capacity, she spends her time playing the drums, watching crappy TV, and eating copious amounts of tacos and barbecue. She also blogs sporadically at carrieandersen.com.
