Sarah Palin is the bane of my daily news reading. Thankfully, she is fodder for brilliant comics like Jamie Kilstein.

About the Author

Chase Roper

Chase Roper is the Internet’s only comedy writing, podcasting, stay at home dad (maybe). His comedic sensibility has been described as bitingly sarcastic. He’s not sure if he agrees with that but is pretty sure that “bitingly” isn’t a real word. You can check out his show, The Stay at Home Dadcast on iTunes and Stitcher Radio.

    hello, The Truth:

why is he a second rate Bill Hicks– simply because both comics have strong socio-political opinions? totally silly. also, his new hour i saw in montreal last summer is incredibly personal and really well done. here’s a review if you’d like to check it out:

I would say he has already made it or is atleast on the way to making it with 1 album and another on the way, a successful podcast (which is supported by listeners) and an appearance on Conan soon. thats his podcast/radio show its very good

I will really be impressed when Jamie opens up about his personal life instead of trying to be a second rate Bill Hicks

Hi Shannon, I really appreciate your comment on this. For ME, I value when a comic is completely honest within the context of their material. It’s what I enjoy most about stand-up.

this guy will never make it doing politics jokes like that. look at all the people that do political stuff like Bill Maher and peopel like that. all they do is create contraversity, not laughter in ANY crowd like i believe you have to be able to do in order to be successful, but there are many successful people that have done it like george carlin, but they did it after they were known. he’s sectioned himself off from over half of the country. i have strong political belifes too, but i know better than to go calling obama and his crowd douch bags because i wont be able to work alot of places that i want to. i hope he gets over his randy moss attitude to he can be very successful, he’s got great stage presence.
