C'mon, Bill. You know you would.

C'mon, Bill. You know you would.

Don’t you just love it when two famous people yell at each other from their respective national television shows but not face to face? Indirect non-confrontational confrontation is fun!

In this case, it’s Bill Maher vs The View‘s Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Turns out, Maher made a joke on his show Real Time about how he’d like to swap Hasselbeck with CBS correspondent Lara Logan, who was detained but then released by bad men in Egypt. Why?

Well, because Maher is super liberal and Hasselbeck isn’t and so this is funny-ish. The joke would’ve worked better, though, if Logan was still detained.

In the end, it comes down to Maher telling a crappy joke (not because of the political undertones, but because it’s just not good) and Hasselbeck’s moronic defense. Can you feel the sexual tension, folks? Here we go!

EH is an insufferable egotistical idiot but let me tell you how I really feel about her….I don’t like her!!!

Bill Maher is truly a coward. He continually touts his political agenda as legitimate and when challenge about his mistakes he hides behind the statement that his show is a comedy.
It takes a woman (Elizabeth) to get him to fess  up his to his error. He again failed to properly apologize, a true sign of a coward.

Apologize?  for what?  Maher is a comedian, if EH didn’t find the joke funny or amusing, so what?  Go on with the show, but for her to in essence say, “You hurt my feelings, and you should apologize” just shows how immature, and self centered she is.  Frankly, he paid way too much attention to her, he should have taken the opportunity to put her down further, just like Kathy Griffin did when EH tried to pull the same stunt when Griffin came onto the show.
Going forward, it appears when an “enemy” of Hasselback’s is scheduled to be on the view, it should be done on days when Elizabeth is not going to be there. She is too immature to conduct an actual probing interview.  Hopefully, Barbara Walters will see she is a liability, and find someone better to replace her.

Bill must have struck a note with the dim witted Palin wanna be. Like Palin, Elisabeth doesn’t have anything close to a sense of humor….or much of a brain. If you can’t laugh at a silly joke you should seek some counseling Liz
