Jack Whitehall
Air travel never fails to provide fodder for comedy, whether it’s the theater of airport security, the unpleasantness of being locked in a small space with two hundred people for hours or the lack of free peanuts.
Three stand-ups, Dara Ó Briain, Jack Whitehall, and Jon Richardson, are taking the air travel-comedy relationship even further by performing a gig onboard a British Airways Airbus A321.
The reason: to raise money for Comic Relief, reports UK’s comedy experts Chortle.
Of the trio of funny men, you may be somewhat familiar with Whitehall, having been named to Variety’s 10 Comics to Watch this year as well as debuting his own Comedy Central Presents (check out the video below).
Assuming all goes according to plan, they’ll set a record for the world’s highest comedy gig at 35,000 feet. That record will be hard to break, unless we send an astronaut comic into space.
