Janeane Garofalo as profiler Beth Griffith
Way back in June of last year, we reported that Janeane Garofalo was likely to be cast as a full-time member of a new Criminal Minds spinoff.
Well, she was cast, the episodes are shot and the show has its big premiere tonight on CBS at 9 pm EST.
Starring opposite of Forest Whitaker in Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, she plays profiler Beth Griffith, who is described like this: “strong-willed and outspoken, the newest member of the team who joins them from the FBI Threat Assessment Task Force.”
The dramatic role for the veteran comedian isn’t such a stretch for her anymore, having scored recurring roles on The West Wing and 24 in the past few years. Anyway, let’s check out a wee preview of the show, which features some behind the scenes footage and an interview with Janeane. Do it!
