Donald Glover’s a busy dude. Last week, we told you about his IAMDONALD stand-up comedy tour, kicking off in mid-April. Today, New York Magazine’s Vulture blog announced that he’ll be the first host of mtvU’s Woodie Awards, also known as MTV’s college music awards show.
The site has a quick interview with Glover, where he explains the importance of being drunk and high at a show like this. Apparently he’s taking a cue from James Franco.
The show happens during South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, March 16 at midnight. And it’ll be broadcast live on MTV, MTV2 and mtvU, so prepare yourself for a wardrobe malfunction.
