Last night on the The Colbert Report, a lot of things happened– most notably Jimmy Fallon and Jon Stewart both popped up as surprise guests. And it wasn’t just for our entertainment, although it was incredibly entertaining. A cynic would say the trio did an outstanding job promoting Jimmy Fallon’s new Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor “Late Night Snack” as well as reminding dairy lovers of the long standing “Stephen Colbert’s AmeriCone Dream”– that the video below simply represents a very long commercial for the ice cream giants.
But, c’mon! Why do you have to get all serious about something so delicious and amazing and cold and delicious and amazingly delicious?
In the end, all that matters is what kind of person you are: Are you the type to fill the void with Fallon’s “vanilla ice cream, fudge covered potato chip clusters and a salty caramel swirl?” Or are you more of a Colbert person, someone who’s eager to tamp depression with “vanilla ice cream with fudge covered waffle cone pieces and a caramel swirl?”
