Greg Giraldo tribute on Comedy Central set for March 18

A tribute to late comedian Greg Giraldo, who died last September, will premiere on Comedy Central on March 18 at 11:30 pm EST.

Give It Up for Greg Giraldo will feature interviews with the comedian’s comedy friends, including Jon Stewart, Jim Gaffigan, Conan O’Brien, Dave Attell, Lewis Black, Sarah Silverman, Colin Quinn and Nick Swardson.

The special will also boast highlights from every corner of Giraldo’s on-screen career– roasts, pilots, stand-up specials and more.

Any word on if they will air the benefit show that Tom Papa hosted?

if anything, there may be some archival-type footage from the event in the special on March 18. but, i don’t think the benefit Papa hosted will ever be aired in full.

Greg has done so many roast this show could be hours long. He’s going to be missed, made fun of and now going to be made famous for something.
