Louis C.K. to be named Comedy Person of the Year

It’s always satisfying when people get what they deserve, whether good or bad – and this guy certainly gets what he deserves. Louis C.K. will be named comedy person of the year by the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal this July.

He’s made a name for himself as the comic who creates a new hour of material every year and, more recently, as the writer, director, editor, and star of FX comedy series Louie.

He’s hard at work on the second season, which, as far as I’m concerned, cannot arrive to my TV fast enough.

Congrats on the honor, Louis!

Louis has been the comedy person of the year ever since “Shameless,” as far as I’m concerned. Congrats to him.

That is an amazing honor to have! Louis C.K. is one of my favorite comedians. I really love his show on FX called Louie. He has a ton of talent and it really shows. I work for Dish Network and I watch a lot of TV in HD and Louie is just one of those shows that just catches your attention and wondering what will be coming next.
