Man, Nick Cannon’s come a long way since his start on Nickelodeon’s All That. Turns out, in addition to being a comedian, he’s trying on the musician mantle. PerezHilton tells us that accompanying his upcoming stand-up comedy special will be a musical comedy album called Mr. Showbiz, featuring Akon as guest vocalist. Two releases at once? Damn.

Curious what the album will be like? Take a listen at the first single from the album, called “Famous.” Catchy!

I’ve never found Nick Cannon to be funny in the least. When he had his improv show on MTV, he proclaimed himslf to be the king of improv? Really? He has never made me laugh.
