Earwolf.com, a podcasting venture from Scott Aukerman and Jeff Ullrich, have released a new Twitteresque comedy podcast onto the world – Eardrop. This new podcastfeatures several different guests (comedians, actors, and writers alike) who phone in brief ramblings or comedy bits a’la Twitter style to be churned out in short daily updates. Earwolf.com puts it this way:

“We’ve invited some of our favorite comedians to call in and leave messages on our answering machine. These are those messages. Some bits just don’t work in writing, you know? That’s what Eardrop is for! We at Earwolf have chosen some of our favorite comics to call in with jokes, characters, songs, and more.”

There are less than a handful of these little podcast gems available, as it was just released on March 14, but each one is a funny unexpected delight. Recent contributors have already included but are not limited to Steve Agee, Rich Sommers, Harris Wittels, Paul F. Tompkins, and Thomas Lennon. About the Author

Chase Roper

Chase Roper is a brilliantly subtle and bitingly sarcastic writer/ humorist from very south of Seattle, WA. While it might not be relevant to his comedy writing career, Chase feels it is important to mention that he is also an expert on the subject of zombies and martial arts movies. Also, 'bitingly' might not be a real word.
