Zach Galifianakis has once again bolstered his comedy dominance in the entertainment industry– this time, by striking a first-look deal with cable giant HBO.
Along with Mike Gibbons, the bearded one has co-created a comedy series, in which Los Angeles stand-up fixture Brody Stevens will star.
Deadline, who broke the story today, explains the series like this: “It is a mocumentary starring Stevens as himself, which chronicles one day in the life of the comedian. Galifianakis appears in the presentation and is expected to guest star on the potential series.”
