Flavor FlavIt seems that while washed-up hip-hop hypeman, failed fast food restauranteur and reality television star Flavor Flav was busy opening and closing fried chicken spots, ignoring arrest warrants and trying to bed skanks on national television he was also harboring some fantasy that he’d be able to become a stand-up comedian– because, really…can’t anyone?

And he thought to himself, I’ll be so good at this thing I’ve never done that I should launch a comedy tour!

So that’s what he’s doing, folks.

As of now, Flavor Flav’s Freaky Comedy Tour (it’s not clear who he’s bringing along to perform with him) is booked at The Comedy Zone in Charlotte, NC from Aug. 25 – 27, though tickets aren’t on sale yet. He’s also booked for five shows in three nights at the Comedy Quarter in Neenah, WI; tickets start at $20.

By all accounts, the only comedy experience Flav has is getting made fun of during Comedy Central’s Roast of Flavor Flav, which aired in 2007.

So it’s undoubtedly clear that Larry King, Ron Artest, 50 Cent, and, now, Flavor Flav do not read Punchline Magazine.

yeah, i think that’s a pretty safe assumption.

I saw Public Enemy a few years ago in Fargo. During the concert Flav brought a bunch of thirteen year olds on stage and told them not to have sex and said money was evil. Then the whole band left the stage and Flav did this atrocious five minute drum solo. The dude is totally ready for stand up.

Leave comedy to the comics! Just because your on tv does not mean you can do stand up

I’m quite sure he’ll be bringing Dustin Diamond and Charlie Sheen on the tour.
