It seems that while washed-up hip-hop hypeman, failed fast food restauranteur and reality television star Flavor Flav was busy opening and closing fried chicken spots, ignoring arrest warrants and trying to bed skanks on national television he was also harboring some fantasy that he’d be able to become a stand-up comedian– because, really…can’t anyone?
And he thought to himself, I’ll be so good at this thing I’ve never done that I should launch a comedy tour!
So that’s what he’s doing, folks.
As of now, Flavor Flav’s Freaky Comedy Tour (it’s not clear who he’s bringing along to perform with him) is booked at The Comedy Zone in Charlotte, NC from Aug. 25 – 27, though tickets aren’t on sale yet. He’s also booked for five shows in three nights at the Comedy Quarter in Neenah, WI; tickets start at $20.
By all accounts, the only comedy experience Flav has is getting made fun of during Comedy Central’s Roast of Flavor Flav, which aired in 2007.
