Comedy Central just sent out a press release officially announcing what we reported early yesterday morning– that comedian Al Madrigal is the newest contributor to The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. His first appearance will go down tonight as he joins Jon in the studio for a report about immigration.
We couldn’t be happier for Al, who has been one of our favorite comedians for years. Madrigal will also be seen this Fall on the NBC show Free Agents with Hank Azaria, Natasha Leggero and more. Before Al blows up, we highly suggest you pick up his album Half Breed, which we reviewed in 2009.
