Jim CarreyCanadian-born comedy legend Jim Carrey will be awarded the “Funniest M.F.” award at this year’s Guys Choice Awards, presented by Spike TV.

Beginning his mainstream career on In Living Color in the early 90’s, Jim quickly made a name for himself portraying notable leads in classic films such as Dumb and Dumber, The Cable Guy and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.

Spike TV representative Casey Patterson had this to say on Jim’s crowning, “when considering all the motherf***ers working today, we determined that Jim Carrey was by far the funniest of them all.”

Past “Funniest M.F.” award winners include Chris Rock, former The Office star Steve Carrell and recent Mark Twain Humor recipient Will Ferrell. The fifth annual Spike TV Guys Choice Awards premieres Friday, June 10 at 9:00 pm EST.
